Core Offerings for 2023 - 2024
Through our continually evolving core offerings, educators and leaders have access to high-quality, leading-edge professional development opportunities specific to working in a Jewish early childhood setting. This includes individualized coaching, peer learning experiences, leading-edge leadership development, and innovative programmatic opportunities.
School Leader Support
Monthly meetings will utilize the first 45 minutes engaging in time to connect and discuss important community topics. The second 45 minutes will focus in small groups on built-in leadership professional development, focused on navigating difficult conversations, leadership-style, and other relevant topics.
Regularly scheduled meetings to share important workforce development, advocacy opportunities or other relevant topics.
Participants take turns confidentially presenting work situations to reflect upon feelings, actions and reactions as a result of interactions with staff and families to grow as leaders. Monthly, virtually
School leader coaching available with designated Efshar coach. Leadership support is always available from Victoria Bisharat, but deeper coaching sessions focused on developing your leadership practice are available through the coaching support selected by each school.
Each school receives 2 free PD trainings to be used during setup week as well as any other time during the year as agreed upon by the school, the coach and/or Victoria.
An annual gathering of all school leaders for shared learning, inspiration and community engagement. Two tracks: one to focus on administrative support (hiring/onboarding workshop) and another support track (leadership support, difficult conversations, resiliency and culture. Next gathering will take place during the summer break.
Educator Offerings
Monthly teacher convenings to support leadership from within each school. Topics discussed will be focused on advocacy, pedagogy and leadership. Stipend provided for all participants. Meetings will happen outside of the school day.
Online PD offerings available for all educators, dates TBD, time will always be 5:30-7pm on Zoom topics may range from seamless Judaism to constructivist philosophy and everything in between.
Annual day of learning and community for all network educators to deepen their thinking with the guidance of inspiring presenters and topics. January 2nd, 2024 in Denver & January 8th, 2024 in Boulder. Learn more →
Efshar coaches will collaborate with leaders to offer tiered coaching support intended to elevate pedagogical and teaching practices with identified educators to enhance quality and depth for teachers and their students.
Community of Practice Learning Cohorts
Applied learning and cohort experience for select leaders who serve in a pedagogical leadership role to have an opportunity to deepen thinking about teaching, pedagogy and learning in a leadership capacity. Monthly evening meetings, hybrid virtual and in-person
We are committed to off ering sacred spaces for ECE professionals to learn alongside each other, and we want to be intentional about creating this experience. More information to come.
